Computer Care - Virus Removal / Hard drive Cleaning

Below I will list how to tackle such issues.
Programs Needed
- Spyware Doctor - Available free from Google Packs or for more features PC Tools
- CCleaner download here
- Patience (aprox 2 hours for Spyware Doctor and CCleaner to run. A further 1-4 hours for Disk Defragmenter to complete)
- Disk Defragmenter (Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter)
Spyware Doctor has never failed me yet, "touch wood". Once installed it takes roughly 45 mins to scan your system from head to toe. It then lists all of the infections with a description of the infection and a security risk level indicated by a trafic light system.
You then simply click "fix checked" and it will clean your system of viruses and harmful malware. (you may be prompted to restart your system at this point)
CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)
Disk Defragmenter as the name implies, defragments your Hard Drives. Your drives get fragmented when you add and delete files, because information that should be grouped together gets split up. When you defragment your disk, all of this information gets grouped back together making the system faster
