Son loves these pads and we play plenty of indoor hockey with them. They have held up well and fit the bill for what I was looking for. He has a size 23″ so right between the typical goalie pad sizes for youth. He would be a 22″ right now for actual goalie pads It’s a good way to introduce leg pads to younger kids interested in playing goalie. He has learned a lot about movement and how to position himself with leg pads on so highly recommend. These are for street hockey only. I would not use these for anything on ice. Padding is solid for a foam puck or ball. I have not shot at them with anything else. Value is good IMO. The buckle system is ok. They are not the standard buckle but a pressure clasp. While they do hold on a believe as he gets older or stronger it will become a problem. Age range 5-7. Blocker and glove are standard but seem on the larger side. My son has a good size hand for his age and he has a harder time with the glove.
